What is this movie? And who is Hayao Miyazaki. Enlighten me please:)

It's a full length feature anime movie. It's about a fish girl named Ponyo that wishes to become human and does so, and her 'adventures' with a boy, Sosuke. The story itself is quite childish, but still charming and amusing, whereas the visuals are absolutely stunning.

Every single frame of the movie was hand drawn and looks just, just, well, amazing and mesmerizing.

Hayao Miyazaki is a famed and highly praised Japanese animator/director. His movies tend to look amazing and can be reach very high levels creativity, both visually and story-wise, and use traditional methods of animation.

His most famous movies include Spirited Away (Oscar for best animated movie), Kiki's Delivery Service and My Neighbor Totoro.

Needless to say, I admire and appreciate his work greatly, and even if Ponyo isn't as good as some of his previous works, it still is highly worth seeing.

Hope that clears things up!

Yes I thought about this anime is so cool:)

Hey dude sign on my page and leave comments about my pictures.
Thanks in advance.

You have some pretty nice art, I'll give you that. You <should> make it into the art portal.

You didn't like ponyo? I thought it was better than tottoro, I didn't like that one that much. Spirited away was good, but you can't watch that over and over, kiki's delivery service you can watch a couple of times. But that one, with the demon in the forest, I could watch that over and over for hours. What's your favorite one?

Ponyo is a fine movie, but it's not as good as some of their other works. I'm a big fan of Spirited Away and Kiki's, but, if you're referring to Princess Monokoke, then I heartily agree, it's my all time favourite Ghibli movie.

I mean, I don't know what you're comparing it to. I liked princess mononoke, and I liked this one. Maybe princess mononoke and nausica had more emotion in it, that's why they were better, it was more meaningful. I still don't see how ponyo wasn't as good as the other ones, like that pig movie. I mean they are all good. Not all of them. One or two of them suck big time. I was bored by those. Maybe that one about the heist, that one was boring. And other one, a newer one, it was about a boy and a girl in japan after WWII and they turn out to be siblings, or their fathers were both in the same army regiment, that one was boring, the entire movie wasn't anything special, nothing big happened in that one.
