... excelent movie. Nice sprites, nice animation and perfect timing on the humor. Just one thing, metroid fusion ROX! =p

Kitmouse responds:

I beg to differ. Metroid Fusion too me two days to complete. It was a waste of money. That god damn stupid computer told you what to do and where to go the whole game! Nintendo made it idiot proof, I miss the other metroid games where it says "Go destroy mother brain" or "kill all the metroids" then throws you into the middle of nowhere and lets you figure out what to do. But in Fusion, whats the point? the computer tells you what to do. so, its WAY too easy. Nintendo fucked up that time, and it wasen't a very strong story line either, introducing new characters like "Adam" Etc... Fusion was a desparate attempt to make another hit like Super Metroid, But, like with the GBA SP, Nintendo failed. Idiots. I love the classic games that have challenge, not these new games for this all new Stupid kids cant do anything for themselves generation. Fusion was good, yea, for when i need a game to play on the toilet. TOO easy, and the last boss and credits were pathetic. Oh and I may just parody Metroid Fusion sooner or later, so, Thanks for watching!

... Prety funny. Just one tiny little thing... SARS is happening in China and Hong Kong mainly, not in Japan... wait! Maybe Godzilla is the reason for this!

Plastico-Monkey responds:

Origonally I had thought about making it in Hong Kong or any of the other hot spots in China. But just decided on Japan because thats home territory to Godzilla and SARS is invading. Thanks for the review :)

Better than your average newgrounds crappy movie..

... well, the whole stick figure fight to death has been done about a million times but still... the animation was well done (and the drawings, although stick figures, were ok). Here's 2 sugestions: try adding sound and try doing something original! Trust me, if you have a good idea (and with your skills) you can make a pretty fine flash movie...

DaOne responds:

That's the problem I don't have any idea's

Here are a few tips: try using larger sprites (sonic and tails are tiny); you should really optimize the file size (its quite large for a movie that small); try making the action scenes more coherent (try looking at Sonic vs Mario for a good example). On the plus side, nice choice of music and the animation was smooth.

SpriteShifter responds:

Thanks, I will work on Episode 2, I promise more plot and smoothness, and your right, I didnt realize the sprites were so tiny! :P

Just one question? Did I hear the original robot voice saying "base" at the same time as the "clock"? Near to the end...

z3n responds:

good ears!

Hum....

This isn't a bad movie, by any acount, but it was somewhat "pointless". It did have style, however, the drawings were well done (although the animation was very simplistic). I guess that for its intended purpose, however, its perfect.

pat-man responds:

I'm taking baby steps with tha animation i suppose.

Oh yeah, one more thing...

Its still me (from the other reviews) and I wanted to add one more thing that I forgot... not only do you make excelent (and funny) flash movies, the fact you take time to respond to every review (!) is amazing... knowing that the artist (in you're case, at least) actually read you're review makes you feel important... =]

McRhyme responds:

You're writing alot today. Yes, but I'm not sure I can keep it up - But I will try. I think I have relied to all my reviews so far (ever). Except some who where just too dumb or wrote too many (like 7 reviews saying the same thing)

To prove my point

I still belive this is better than frofrog, because of the humor... this s amongst the funniest things I ever seen. =] On the other hand, it dosen't have jazz...

McRhyme responds:

This piece is very funny, yes. Let's not argue! I'm happy you like them and I understand that you like this one. I just can't stand the grafics anymore, I see all the parts... it's like a gift now. I always see all parts a character is made up of!

Pretty good stuff...

... but not as good as the Ytown public series (which I hold in the highest regard). I specially liked the the music (I love jazz), though I did find the eggs, while an interesting idea, a bit distracting. On the whole, not as funny as Ytown, but a good movie.

McRhyme responds:

You go tot be kidding?! This is better than Ytown, I promise. But last night I did watch some episodes of Ytown to compare and I must admit that they are damn cool too. Haha! But "Detective Frofrog" is better in all categories.

You could do better

Ok, I´ll try to make some constructive cristisim. First, I would recomend you tried doing some other type of movie, stick figures skating isnt exctacly original. I would also recomend trying to use more sound types. On the plus side, this has a nice loading screen (for a change) and it runs smoothly.

live-n-let-die responds:

thanks
